The MA9500 has a mighty 300 watts per channel. The McIntosh Autoformer™ will guarantee your speakers will always receive the full 300 Watts, regardless of their impedance. We’ve paired it with the Bowers & Wilkins 803 D4s in the demo room, and they complement each other perfectly. When you listen to “The Smoke” by The Smile on this system, that luscious bassline is deep, dynamic and powerful.

Better control of the low-end 

A doubling of its filter capacity produces a significant increase in dynamic headroom from 1.8 dB to 2.8 dB. Giving the amp a greater ability to reproduce musical peaks with less distortion, even better low-end performance, and amazing bass control. 

Fine-tune the sound of your music

You can fine-tune the sound of your vinyl records with the adjustable loading feature on the phono inputs. It features an impressive 10 analogue inputs consisting of 2 balanced inputs; 6 unbalanced inputs; plus 1 Moving Coil & 1 Moving Magnet phono input for your turntable(s).

It has Roon Tested designation, which means it’s automatically identified and configured out of the box.
